Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs made from plant-dyed wool, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe who nomadize in Iran's Zagros Mountains, deeply rooted in their way of life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with high oil content to effectively regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh rugs, dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, thread by thread, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool and silk) with water, wring out a towel firmly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool, which may result in a distinctive odor from the dyes used to color the wool.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping.
The pompoms located on the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery upon request.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
