Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadicize the Zagros Mountains in Iran. They are hand-woven using naturally dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, as well as a soft and pleasant texture rich in oils that effectively regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs, made from this wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven strand by strand by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, showcasing their exceptional durability.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dye inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can also be removed before shipping.
The pompoms located at the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
