The Persian Valiant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant-to-the-touch texture contains a high fat content to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh, made by nomads in Iran who hand-dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously weave each strand, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are so durable that they are said to last for 100 years.
Gabbeh, born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, are warm in winter and breathable in summer, offering a cool feel.
And above all, there is its artistic quality. Gabbeh created imaginatively by nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique original.
