Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who are nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool that is deeply rooted in their daily life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.
Gabbeh, woven strand by strand by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are so durable that they are said to last 100 years.
Gabbeh, born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, are also characterized by being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the nap.
If you are concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used for the wool may occur.
This odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can also be removed before shipping.
If requested, the pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
