Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled, plant-dyed wool rugs woven by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture, rich in natural oils, allows for effective body temperature regulation.

Daily Care
Remove dust and dirt with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
As these are hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dye inconsistencies. Please appreciate these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool.
Please understand that this odor will gradually dissipate with use.
