Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile carpets hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes, deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant-to-the-touch texture contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh woven by Iranian nomads, one by one carefully hand-dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant feel.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, carefully wipe with a wet cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
Please note that the smell will gradually dissipate with use.
