Features of Persian Handwoven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, handwoven rugs made from vegetable-dyed wool by the Qashqai nomads who roam the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The "Persian Valiant" wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture contains a lot of oil to help with temperature regulation.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, and let it dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Points to Note
Due to being handwoven, there may be irregularities in shape, pattern, weaving, and dyeing. Please understand that these are part of the charm of handwoven products.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool.
The odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pom-poms can be removed for shipping
The pom-poms on the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
