Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool as a staple of their daily life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, developed to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and is soft and pleasant to the touch, containing a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
These Gabbeh, hand-woven one by one with natural dyes by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their plush and comfortable texture.
Gabbeh that are tightly woven are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used for the wool may occur.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can also be removed before shipping
The pom-poms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
