This rug is made from environmentally friendly bamboo, featuring a silky smooth texture and lustrous sheen. It feels pleasantly cool to the touch, is flexible, and durable. The designs in this series were conceived by designers from Iran (Persia), the home of authentic Persian carpets. While maintaining the luxurious feel of Persian carpets, costs are kept down by weaving them with machines that employ techniques close to hand-weaving. This rug is finely woven using both machine and hand techniques. The frame and fringe areas are hand-woven, resulting in a more luxurious and carefully finished product.
