The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture containing a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
The Gabbeh, made from this wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, is characterized by its fluffy and pleasant texture.
Gabbeh rugs are so durably woven that they are said to last 100 years.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated, not feeling hot, in summer.
