The Persian variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains and soft, pleasant-feeling fibers rich in oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh, woven painstakingly by hand, one strand at a time, by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are so durable that they are said to last 100 years.
Gabbeh, born from a climate with drastic temperature differences between day and night, are also characterized by being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
