Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai nomads who roam the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content to regulate body temperature effectively.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a wet cloth to remove detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually fade with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
