Gabbeh are long-piled, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai nomadic tribe of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for surviving in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
These Gabbeh, handwoven strand by strand by Iranian nomads after dyeing the wool with natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and comfortable texture.

Daily Care
Vacuum or sweep along the pile to remove dirt and dust.
If you are concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel or similar. Afterwards, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being handwoven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of handweaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may be present.
