Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who are nomads in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content that helps regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh, woven with wool dyed with natural dyes by Iranian nomads, one strand at a time, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-woven product.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
