Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, as well as a soft and pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
Gabbeh are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture, hand-woven strand by strand by Iranian nomads using this wool dyed with natural dyes.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If dirt is a concern: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Precautions
