This rug is made from environmentally friendly bamboo material, featuring a silky smooth texture and lustrous sheen. It feels pleasantly cool to the touch and is both flexible and durable. The designs in this series were created by designers from Iran (Persia), the home of authentic Persian rugs. While maintaining the luxurious feel of a Persian rug, costs are kept down by weaving with machines that have close to hand-weaving capabilities. This rug is finely woven using both machine and hand techniques. The frame and fringe areas are hand-woven, giving it a more luxurious and meticulously finished appearance.
