This rug is made from eco-friendly bamboo material, featuring a silky smooth texture and lustrous sheen. It feels pleasantly cool to the touch, and is both supple and durable. The designs in this series were conceived by designers in Iran (Persia), the home of authentic Persian rugs, maintaining the luxurious feel of Persian rugs while keeping costs down by weaving them with machines that closely mimic hand-weaving techniques. This particular rug is finely woven using both machine and hand techniques. The frame and fringe areas are hand-woven, giving it a more luxurious and meticulously crafted finish.
