Senneh, located in northwestern Iran, is the name of a city where Kurds live. Senneh kilims are highly regarded among Kurdish kilims and are said to excel in weaving techniques and craftsmanship. This technique is believed to be influenced by carpet weaving. Senneh kilims are characterized by small floral patterns and central medallions. Senneh is also currently known as Sanandaj, and a wide variety of flat-weave kilims are produced there.
