Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in daily life, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who are nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel firmly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape, pattern distortions, weaving irregularities, and dye inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may be present.
