As a hand-woven, one-of-a-kind piece, enjoy its unique design.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it results in a Lizebaft Gabbeh, which is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbehs.

Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai nomadic tribe in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are made from plant-dyed wool with a long pile, rooted in their daily life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
The wool is dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, resulting in a Gabbeh that is fluffy and pleasant to the touch.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme day-night temperature differences, Gabbeh rugs are warm in winter and breathable in summer, offering a cool feel.
And above all, there's its artistic quality. Gabbeh rugs created from the nomads' imaginations often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, original work.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug you can cherish for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung out towel or similar. Afterwards, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to their hand-woven nature, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dye variations. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the wool dyes may be present.
This odor will gradually fade with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping.

If requested, the pom-poms located at the corners or in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish to have the pom-poms removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
