Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs, rooted in daily life, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads who roam the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture, rich in natural oils, helps with body temperature regulation.
Gabbeh rugs, made from this wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant feel.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, dyeing irregularities, etc. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Tassels can be removed upon shipment

The tassels attached to the corners and sides of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipment.
Removing the tassels will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
