This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which is thinner and more densely woven than regular Gabbeh.
"Luri" means "fine" and "Baft" means "weave" in Persian.

Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically herd sheep in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture contains a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh, hand-woven by Iranian nomads, thread by thread, from this naturally dyed wool, is characterized by its fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, indicating their exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And, above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used for the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping.

The pompoms attached to the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed and shipped upon request.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
