This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a "Lizebaf Gabbeh" which is thinner than regular Gabbeh and has a tighter weave.

Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh Rugs
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs, deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai nomads who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh, woven meticulously by hand, one strand at a time, by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, is characterized by its fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with significant temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and not feeling hot in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. The Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original piece with no two alike.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
If you are concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel or similar. Afterwards, carefully wipe with water to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilventilated shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique scent from the dyes used on the wool.
Please note that the scent will gradually dissipate with use.
Pom-poms can be removed for shipping
The pom-poms attached to the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
