Features of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), traveled to Europe via Turkey, which is how the word "turquoise" (meaning "Turkish") originated. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with high hardness, and features a vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring skies." In fact, this was the first stone used by humanity as an amulet for protection.
In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, and Egypt. While many American Arizona turquoises are imported to Japan, Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing production in recent years, making it a precious stone.
Enjoy the distinctive vivid, gentle sky blue of natural Persian turquoise, known as "the color of spring skies," which blends beautifully with any skin tone.
Daily Care
To prevent everyday dirt from accumulating, we recommend wiping the item clean after each use before storing it.
Please remove the jewelry before bathing.
Points to Note
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing the jewelry. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, there are rare cases where the stone's color may change.
