Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is known for its vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as an amulet for warding off evil.
In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought into Japan, but this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its scarcity and the dramatic decrease in production in recent years.
Please enjoy the vivid and gentle sky blue, Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, which blends well with any skin tone and is often described as "the color of the spring sky."
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry clean before storing it each time to prevent daily dirt from accumulating.
Please remove it before taking a bath.
Notes
Since natural stones are used, please be careful not to let perfume, sweat, or oily substances come into direct contact with the jewelry when wearing it. Natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, but in rare cases, the stone's color may change.
