This is our original, one-of-a-kind design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi King. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created our jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate design, tailored to the individuality of each turquoise, further enhances the beauty of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise is engraved in gold, shaped to the stone.

Features of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vivid, deep sky-blue color, known as "the color of the spring sky." In fact, this was the first stone used by humankind as an amulet for warding off evil.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was highly prized during the Victorian era. Besides Iran, the best quality production area, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many American Arizona turquoises are brought into Japan, but this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its dwindling production and rarity in recent years.
