This is an original design unique to our store, crafted by the renowned Iranian engraver Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi King's era. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he produced jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the stone's beauty. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved in gold to match the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is how the name "turquoise" originated from the word "Turkish." Persian turquoise is a highly durable, top-quality stone with a vibrant, deep sky blue color, often described as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone humanity used as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other locations. While American Arizona turquoise is commonly imported into Japan, Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output in recent years, making it a rare find.
