Features of Natural Persian Firuzeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise, known for its vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," is a high-quality stone with exceptional hardness. In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humankind as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this "Persian blue" was highly valued during the Victorian era. While Iran is the best quality producing region for turquoise, different qualities are also found in Australia, the United States, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought into Japan, but natural Persian "Firuzeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production in recent years and its preciousness.
Enjoy the vibrant, gentle sky-blue, "Persian Blue," unique to natural Persian turquoise, which is said to be "the color of spring skies" and blends beautifully with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping your jewelry after each wear to prevent everyday dirt from accumulating before storing it.
Please remove your jewelry before bathing.
Important Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oil-based substances when wearing the jewelry. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, the stone's color may rarely change.
