Characteristics of Persian Natural Firuzeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, originally found in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is how the word "turquoise" (meaning "Turkish") originated. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vibrant, deep sky blue color often referred to as "the color of spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and during the Victorian era, this Persian blue was also highly valued.
Besides Iran, the primary source of the best quality turquoise, stones of varying quality are produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firuzeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreasing production in recent years, making it a valuable gem.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky blue of natural Persian turquoise, known as "the color of spring sky," which harmonizes beautifully with skin tones, and the unique Persian blue.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping it clean each time before storing it to prevent everyday dirt from adhering.
Please remove it before bathing.
Important Notes
Since natural stones are used, please be careful to prevent perfumes, sweat, or oily substances from directly contacting the stone when wearing it. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and less prone to discoloration, the stone's color may occasionally change.
