This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by the renowned Iranian goldsmith, Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri was a goldsmith who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the charm of the stones. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold, matching the shape of the stone.

This stone, originally mined in Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a high-quality stone with high hardness, known for its vibrant and deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring sky." In fact, this was also the first stone humanity used as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as a stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
In addition to Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, etc., with varying qualities. While a lot of turquoise from Arizona, USA, is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production in recent years, making it very precious.
