This is a one-of-a-kind original design by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri, exclusively for our shop. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as a royal family jeweler during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the individuality of each turquoise stone, further enhance the charm of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the shape of the stone.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, which is the origin of its name, meaning "Turkish." Persian turquoise is a high-quality stone with high hardness, boasting a vivid, deep sky blue color, known as the "color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone humanity used as an amulet against evil.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output and rarity in recent years.
