This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a renowned Iranian engraver. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to each turquoise's unique character, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved in gold to match the stone's shape.

Features of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with a vibrant, deep sky-blue color often described as "the color of spring sky," and high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While American Arizona turquoise is commonly imported to Japan, Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly reduced output in recent years, making it precious.
