This is a unique, original design from our shop, crafted by the renowned Iranian engraver Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he produced jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the individuality of each turquoise stone, further enhance the charm of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's unique shape.

This stone, once mined in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vibrant, deep sky blue color often called "the color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone humanity used as a protective amulet.

In Persia, this stone was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, the United States, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are imported into Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its decreasing output and preciousness in recent years.
