This Persian hand-woven Gabbeh rug is recommended for round chairs, stools, and bow-back chairs (chairs with a curved seat on the backrest side).
It can also be used on sofas, dining chairs, car seats, or as a cushion. It is also recommended as an accent on sofas or in various other places. The luxurious fringe, similar to that of a Persian rug, is carefully attached by our special order. It features a soft, fluffy, and pleasant texture that can be used all year round. Please enjoy this one-of-a-kind hand-woven design. This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a Lizebaf Gabbeh, which is thinner and more densely woven than a regular Gabbeh. "Lize" means "fine" in Persian, and "baf" means "weave."

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai tribe, nomadic people who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains and is soft to the touch with a rich oil content that helps regulate body temperature. Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven thread by thread by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture. Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, indicating their exceptional durability. Gabbeh, born from the climate with drastic temperature changes between day and night, are warm in winter and airy in summer, making them feel cool. And above all, their artistry. Gabbeh, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original piece. They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but are also artistic enough to be hung on walls. Why not find your own special Gabbeh that you can cherish for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dust and dirt with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile. If stains are a concern: dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove any detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing unevenness. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving. Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may occur. This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.

Removing the pom-poms will not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
