This Persian hand-woven Gabbeh rug is recommended for round chairs, stools, and bow-back chairs (chairs with a curved seat back).
It can also be used for sofas, dining table chairs, car seats, or as a cushion. It's also recommended as an accent piece, placed on a sofa or in various other spots. The luxurious fringes, similar to those on Persian rugs, are meticulously attached through our special order process. It is soft, plush, and features a pleasant texture that can be used all year round. Each piece is hand-woven and one-of-a-kind, allowing you to enjoy a unique design. This particular Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-baf Gabbeh with less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh rugs. "Luri" means "fine" and "baf" means "weave" in Persian.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the nomadic Qashqai tribe in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content for effective body temperature regulation. Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven one by one by Iranian nomads using natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel. Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years. Gabbeh rugs, born from the extreme temperature differences between day and night, are warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing overheating. And above all, their artistry is remarkable. The Gabbeh rugs created by the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, making each one a unique original. They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art. Why not find a special Gabbeh that you can use for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile. If you are concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products. Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique smell from the dyes used to color the wool. The smell will gradually fade with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
