Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically herd in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing it to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture rich in natural oils, which helps in temperature regulation.
These Gabbeh rugs, made from wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven one by one by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile direction.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape, pattern distortion, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually fade with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed upon request
The pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pompoms will not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
