Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape, pattern, weaving, and dyeing. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool, which may result in a distinctive odor from the dyes used. This odor will gradually fade with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.

Pompoms can be removed upon shipment

If you request, the pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before shipping.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
