This Gabbeh is woven with thin threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a "Liezbaf Gabbeh," which is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh.
"Liez" means "fine" in Persian, and "baf" means "weave."

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in daily life, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran using naturally dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture rich in oil to effectively regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven meticulously by Iranian nomads using this wool dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, boasting excellent durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and not feeling hot in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being an original, one-of-a-kind item.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, carefully wipe with a wet cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may occur.
The scent will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping

The pom-poms located at the corners and mid-points of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
