This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it requires more effort to weave, it is a Luri-baf Gabbeh, which is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh.
"Luri" means "fine" and "baf" means "weave" in Persian.

Features of Hand-Woven Persian Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai nomads, who hand-weave them from vegetable-dyed wool in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.
Gabbeh, hand-woven by Iranian nomads by carefully dyeing this wool with natural dyes, strand by strand, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, making each one a unique, original piece with no two alike.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
As these are hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, dyeing inconsistencies, etc. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a distinctive odor from the dye used on the wool may be present.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping

If requested, the pom-poms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
