This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which is thinner and more tightly woven than regular Gabbehs.
Luri means "fine" and Baft means "weave" in Persian.

Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs made from plant-dyed wool, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomadic tribe in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and is soft and pleasant to the touch, containing a high amount of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh, made by nomads in Iran who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-weave each strand, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, demonstrating their exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing heat buildup.
And, above all, their artistic quality is remarkable. Gabbeh created by the nomads from their imagination often feature animal and plant designs, with each piece being a unique, original item.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique scent from the dyes used to color the wool.
The scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed upon shipment

The pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
