This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled, hand-woven rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting excellent durability.
Born from a climate with significant temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing heat.
And, above all, is their artistry. Gabbeh created imaginatively by nomads often feature animal and plant designs, with each piece being an original, one-of-a-kind item.
They are so artistic that they can be displayed on walls as art, in addition to being laid on floors.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent, then air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from animal hair. Therefore, a unique odor may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping.

The pom-poms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
