Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai nomads of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool as part of their daily life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil for effective body temperature regulation, resulting in soft and pleasant-feeling hair quality.
These Gabbeh, hand-woven one by one by Iranian nomads from wool dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, boasting excellent durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing heat.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
The scent will gradually disappear with use, but we ask for your understanding in advance.
Pom-poms can also be removed for shipping

The pom-poms on the corners or in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request and delivered in that state.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
