Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
If stains are a concern: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may occur.
