This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, making it a Lizebaf Gabbeh, which is thinner and more densely woven than regular Gabbehs, due to the extra effort required for its intricate weaving.

Features of Persian Hand-Knotted Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool with a long pile, deeply rooted in their way of life. The Persian Varied wool used in this product is exceptionally durable, allowing the sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil for excellent temperature regulation, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.
Gabbeh rugs, made by nomads in Iran who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-knot each strand, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.
And, of course, there is their artistic quality. The Gabbeh rugs created from the nomads' imaginations often feature animal and plant designs, with each one being a unique, original piece.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but are also artistic enough to be hung on walls.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, one that you can use for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dust and debris by vacuuming or sweeping along the pile direction.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent residue, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-knotted, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-knotted piece.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dyes may be present.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
