This Persian hand-woven Gabbeh rug is sized for an entryway, suitable for slightly larger entrances like those in detached houses.
It will brighten up your entryway, a space you walk through every day.
Besides the entryway, its versatile size also makes it easy to place in empty spaces such as beside a bed or in front of a single sofa.
It is soft, plush, and features a pleasant texture that can be used all year round.
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind hand-woven item, with a design unique in the world.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it requires more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which is thinner and more densely woven than regular Gabbehs.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, everyday carpets hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically live in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
Gabbeh rugs, woven meticulously by hand, thread by thread, by Iranian nomads using naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated, not feeling hot, in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh rugs created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, and each piece is a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor, of course, but also displayed as art on walls.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug you can use for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the nap.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. As such, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can also be removed before shipping.
The pom-poms on the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish for the pom-poms to be removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
