Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung cloth. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, then air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Important Notes

Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape, pattern, weaving, and dyeing. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items. Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool, which may result in a distinctive odor from the wool dyes. This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.

Pom-poms can be removed upon shipment

The pom-poms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
