Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes. The Persian variant wool used in this product, developed for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, boasts excellent durability and a soft, pleasant texture rich in oils to regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh, hand-woven piece by piece by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from the drastic temperature changes between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel or similar. Afterwards, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
