Round Gabbeh entrance mats add a special accent to your entryway or any space you place them in. Their edgeless, round shape brings softness to a room, creating a warmer atmosphere. They are more compact than square mats, fitting seamlessly even in narrow entrance spaces. They also don't obstruct door opening and closing, making them highly practical.
The luxurious fringes, like those on Persian rugs, are meticulously attached as a special order from our shop.
They are soft, plush, and offer a pleasant feel that can be enjoyed all year round.
As handwoven, one-of-a-kind items, enjoy a design that is truly unique.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which is less thick than regular Gabbehs and has a tighter weave.
"Luri" means "fine" and "Baft" means "weave" in Persian.

Characteristics of Persian Handwoven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs handwoven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and soft, pleasant-to-the-touch fibers containing a high amount of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Dyed with natural dyes, these Gabbeh rugs, handwoven painstakingly by Iranian nomads thread by thread, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and breathable in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, there is their artistry. Gabbeh rugs, imagined and created by nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed as art on a wall.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug you can cherish for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being handwoven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of handweaving.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.

Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
