Round Gabbeh entrance mats add a special accent to your entryway or any space you place them. Their corner-less, round shape brings softness to the space and creates a warmer atmosphere. They are more compact than square mats, fitting seamlessly even in narrow entrance areas. Additionally, they don't obstruct door opening and closing, making them highly practical.
The luxurious fringes, reminiscent of Persian rugs, are carefully attached by special order at our store.
They are soft, plush, and have a pleasant feel that can be enjoyed all year round.
Experience a one-of-a-kind, hand-woven design that is unique in the world.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it requires more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which is thinner and more densely woven than regular Gabbehs.
Luri means "fine" in Persian, and Baft means "weave."

Characteristics of Persian Handwoven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically inhabit the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are handwoven using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture due to its high oil content, which helps regulate body temperature.
Gabbehs, hand-woven piece by piece by Iranian nomads using this wool dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Densely woven Gabbehs are incredibly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbehs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and breathable in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbehs created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor, of course, but are also beautiful enough to be displayed on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh that you can enjoy for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar cloth. Afterward, carefully wipe with a wet cloth to remove the detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, or dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbehs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may be present.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping.
If requested, the pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you would like your Gabbeh shipped without pompoms, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
