This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-baf Gabbeh, which is thinner and more tightly woven than regular Gabbeh.
"Luri" means "fine" and "baf" means "weave" in Persian.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs woven by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes. The Persian Variat wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its hair quality is soft and pleasant to the touch, containing a lot of oil to effectively regulate body temperature.
The Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads, who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-weave each thread, is characterized by its plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, demonstrating their exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with large temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, and each one is a unique, one-of-a-kind original.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the nap.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping

The pompoms attached to the corners or sides of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
